Responsible Gaming Standards

Members of the WLA are committed to promoting social responsibility, as a cornerstone of their business operations. This has led to the development of a set of principles that address the lottery industry’s relationship with a wide range of stakeholders, including governments, regulators, treatment providers, researchers, communities, players and their social networks.

Security Control Standard (SCS)

The World Lottery Association has developed the WLA-SCS, the only international standard for lottery security management. It couples a comprehensive information security management baseline incorporating ISO/IEC 27001, a leading international standard for information security, with additional lottery-specific controls representing current best practice.
