The World Lottery Association (WLA) is an international trade association that represents the lottery industry. Its members include state-regulated lotteries, sports betting operators and suppliers to the industry. Members enjoy several benefits, including exclusive access to WLA Data, the world’s leading research report on lottery operators.

The organization is composed of 150 state-authorized lotteries, sports betting operators, suppliers to the global gaming industry, and other organizations. Its members have a combined total of over $250 billion in annual revenues. They adhere to strict social responsibility standards and are committed to contributing to good causes. To date, WLA members have raised more than 1.3 trillion for good causes.

WLA is also committed to fighting illegal lotteries. Its Illegal Lotteries and Betting Committee provides advice to its member lotteries on battling illegal operations. The association has developed a security standard for the lottery industry. The standard, which applies only to WLA members, is a global information security benchmark for the lottery industry.

IGT has been recertified by the World Lottery Association (WLA) as a responsible gambling operator. Responsible gaming standards are part of the WLA’s Responsible Gaming program and promote a global accreditation process for suppliers and operators. As part of the accreditation process, EY performed an assessment of IGT’s lottery operations, providing an independent auditor’s report.
