The World Lottery Association is an international organization comprised of 150 state-authorized lotteries and the suppliers to the gaming industry. WLA members generate a combined annual gross of more than USD 300 billion, which is dedicated to the good of society. As of March 2019, member lotteries contributed USD 86 billion to good causes, and over 1.3 trillion to charity since 1999. They also work with more than 70 suppliers in the gaming industry.
The World Lottery Association combines AILE and Intertoto and creates a unified voice in front of authorities. The Association has 65 past events, which are available for subscribers only. Responsible Gaming: Responsible gaming is an integral part of lottery operations, and the WLA’s Responsibility Gaming Principles help members to facilitate safe, responsible gaming for their players. WLA members are bound by the WLA’s Responsible Gaming Principles, which they adopted in 2006. This Framework focuses on promoting public safety and sustaining revenue for the public good. A WLA Member can attain all four levels of achievement, while still maintaining their individual safeguards.
