The world lottery association represents the interests of state-licensed lotteries, setting technical and ethical industry standards. Its more than 150 members across six continents raised an estimated USD 80 billion in 2021 to fund good causes. The organization sets standards, educates about the industry and helps its members achieve business and financial success.
WLA Regular Members are lotteries and sports betting operators that sell games of chance or skill and dedicate the majority of their net revenues to the public good. They comply with the WLA Code of Conduct and adhere to the aims and objectives of the organization. WLA Associate Members are suppliers of goods and services to the lottery or sports betting industries whose business practices conform to the aims and objectives of the association.
The WLA has created a new brochure on the Council of Europe Convention on Manipulation of Sports Competitions, providing a brief guide to the convention and its benefits for national lotteries. It is available on the WLA website here.
iBabs was chosen because of the easy-to-use user interface, the ability to create an agenda in one language and then replicate it in 5 languages, the functionality to organise meeting admin in one place and support from the iBabs team as the World Lottery Association implemented the solution into their workflows.
iBabs is used to manage all of the meetings held by the World Lottery Association and its Working Groups. As well as scheduling and managing all of the meeting logistics, iBabs also supports all the recording, reporting and sharing activities.
